Sometimes I do a photoshoot and while behind the camera I'm SO excited about the amazingness of what I'm seeing that I'm jumping up and down inside. I think that during this shoot, I was jumping up and down... but not inside... literally jumping up and down. And now, while going back through them, I'm sitting at my computer and yelling, "YES!!!!"

It sure doesnt hurt having a BEAUTIFUL subject, with the most awesome look, a gorgeous southern california day and one of my favorite locations, but this senior portrait session is by far one of my favorite shoots EVER!

LOVE this family. The three girls are all grown up (the youngest is graduating this year) and they are all home for Christmas. They came from Boston and San Diego and I couldn't say how happy they all seem to have some family time together. For the first time I used a new "hug" technique. Since there were no toddlers, my "fake laugh" technique and "tickle" technique seemed just a little silly. But.... this new found family hug seems to loosen everyone up and made for the most natural fun happy family photos. Thank you so much Singleton Family for inviting me to capture your happy smiles and this great moment in your lives.
